YOUR DATA, STRAIGHT UP

PB Stats is currently in early development. This page explains what we collect right now, what that'll look like at full launch, and how you can reach us if anything is off.

THANK YOU

Every person scoring a match, uploading a roster, or just kicking the tires during this phase is helping shape what PB Stats becomes. The staff genuinely appreciates the time you're spending with us on this adventure — you're not a user, you're a co-builder.

WHAT WE COLLECT RIGHT NOW

At signup we ask for your email address. That's it. No phone, no address, no date of birth, no credit card.

If you choose to sign in with Google instead of a password, Google sends us your email address and a unique account identifier — nothing else. We don't pull your contacts, calendar, or any other Google data, and you can disconnect Google at any time from Account Settings → Connected Accounts.

Once you're in the app, any data you create — match scores, player stats, rosters, field layouts, practice sessions, feedback submissions — is stored so you can come back to it and review your own work. That's your data, not ours to do things with.

NO PAYMENT DATA

We haven't integrated a payment processor yet. Every feature is free during early development while we decide — in consultation with trusted industry folks — what the right structure and pricing look like.

When we move from early development to full launch, we'll reach back out to you to finish setting up your account (billing details, plan selection, any additional info your role may require). You'll see it coming; nothing changes silently.

HOW YOUR DATA IS USED

Only to run the service:

  • Show you your own matches, analytics, and practice data.
  • Share scoring, rosters, and live matches with the people you invite or your org teammates.
  • Send transactional email when required (account verification, password resets, feedback confirmations).

We don't sell your data. We don't run third-party ad trackers.

WHO CAN SEE YOUR DATA

By default, data you create is visible to:

  • You.
  • Members of your organization (if you belong to one), scoped to the features their role unlocks.
  • People you explicitly share a live match or practice link with.

INFRASTRUCTURE

PB Stats runs on a small number of established third-party service providers for hosting, database, authentication, storage, and email delivery. We choose providers with strong security and reliability track records so the app stays fast and your data stays safe.

SECURITY

We take reasonable steps to protect your account and data — private stays private, passwords are never visible to us, and sensitive settings are stored in a secure way. If anything ever looks off, please reach out through the bugs and feedback menu or email support@pbstats.app.

ADMINISTRATIVE ACCESS

In narrow circumstances — responding to a support ticket, investigating a bug you reported, or diagnosing an outage — a platform administrator may need to look at data tied to your account. When this happens, the access is logged with a reason. You can request the log of any administrative access that touched your account by emailing support@pbstats.app.

YOUR CHOICES

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct anything inaccurate, or delete your account at any time. Email support@pbstats.app and we'll take care of it.

UNDER 13

If a player is under 13, a parent or guardian should create and manage the account on their behalf. We don't knowingly collect data directly from children under 13 — if you believe we have, let us know and we'll remove it.

FOUND A BUG OR HAVE AN ISSUE?

This is the most important section during early development. If anything looks wrong — data you can't see, data you can see but shouldn't, a feature behaving weird, a privacy concern — please use the bugs and feedback menu inside the app. It goes straight to the staff and we work on those reports right away.

Not signed in? Email support@pbstats.app directly.

CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE

As the product grows — payment processor, new features, new infrastructure partners — this notice will change. When a material change ships, active users will receive a heads-up via email before it takes effect. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
